FINALLY. Richard is one of the HARDEST people for me to draw AS RICHARD. I can draw Thorin fairly well, but…WTF. NOT RICHARD?! I adore this picture, so I tried this one. The only thing I’ve done since taking the picture, is darken up the hair at the center of his forehead. You get the idea, though.
Cooking for people who can’t cook: Broccoli and Peas Spicy Soup
Time: 30 minutes
Difficulty: no cooking skills required
Calories: who cares, it’s healthy
1 package of frozen, pre-cooked broccoli
1 package of frozen, pre-cooked green peas (don’t cook greenpeace, please, it’s unacceptable)
optionally 5cm bit of leek and 2cm slice of italian cabbage
5-6 cloves of garlic
seasoning: cayenne, black pepper, salt, dried parsley
If you don’t want to use a microwave start by defreezing broccoli and peas in boiling water. Wash and peel what needs to be washed and peeled. Cut it all in small pieces. Start cooking all of the vegetables you’ve just cut in about 600ml of water. It should be cooking for about 15 minutes before you add anything more. In the meantime defreeze your broccoli (5 minutes in a microwave, 750W), add it to the pot and while you’e repeating the microwaving with green peas, season what’s already in the pot. You know your taste, I can’t tell you how much cayenne would burn your intestines down. Cut or use garlic press to crush the garic and add it to the pot together with defreezed peas. Let it cook for 10-15 minutes and then to make it cool down faster, put the pot into a sink filled with cold water. You probably don’t want to blend it when it’s hot as hell because it may make your blender knives blunt faster. After blending, let it boil one more time and we’re done. Remember to plate your soup pretentiously as I did with mine.
Congratulations, you’ve cooked this soup without any cooking skills and I’m proud of you as much as I’m proud of myself!
